The Super Powers of the Sun

Heal naturally by using this amazing free resource... the SUN.

Sun gazing also known as sun eating is seen as a way to heal and restore the body.

I know from personal experience that Sun gazing can be beneficial to your overall health.

Some benefits include a surge in the production of melatonin and serotonin. Sun gazing stimulates the pineal gland as the direct sunlight hits the eye, moves through retinal-hypothalamic tract, and then hits the brain. The most common reason to sun gaze is to increase energy levels.

When to do it: Morning and Evening one hour before sunrise and one hour before sunset. Why? Have you tried looking at the sun?? The rays can be harmful to your eyes.

How long: 10-45 mins

What to do: Take off your shoes and get comfortable. If you have a patio, this is the perfect time for that morning cup of coffee or tea and that evening glass of red wine or water. Be sure to keep your bare feet on the ground and begin to gaze. I prefer to breathe and think of things that bring me peace. This is also a great time to say your favorite affirmations.

Tips to remember: This isn't a marathon it's a sprint! If you can't make it the full hour, do what you can. Any effort is better than none. Lastly, as the weather begins to cool, and temperatures drop, you can sun gaze from your window seal if needed.

After you Sun gaze write down how you feel for the first week.

We would love to hear about your sun gazing experience.
